What We Do
Ways We Kare
Heart to Heart Kare Bag
At the patient's admission, they will receive a "Heart to Heart Kare bag," which will include items to make their room feel more like home. Not only is this bag from our hearts to theirs, but it's also a bag they will keep from their old heart to their new one. Hence, it's called "Heart to Heart."
Kare Days
Kare Days are events that will take place within the children's hospital, bringing smiles to their faces. Whether it is pizza night or bringing in an activity for the family to do. These events are supposed to show we "Kare" about these kids.
Build a Heart Family
During your time inpatient, you WILL have a lot of questions. The best person to ask is someone who has already been through it. That's why we are providing a secure network and group for you to join and share updates, questions, concerns, and tips throughout your journey! Creating connections and bonds like family!
